02Drivers
No one drives untilthey've passed all of this.
We provide the 2-hour 7D pre-service training for first-time applicants.
- At least 21 years old
- Valid license held for the past 3 continuous years
- Satisfactory driving record, authorizations and references
- CORI and SORI background checks
- Medical and vision exam
- 2-hour 7D pre-service training (we provide it)
- Written exam and RMV 7D certificate
- Internal road evaluation
- Insurance and district approval
- Renewal tracked from 90 days before expiry
03The six rules
What these meanin practice.
- 01
We protect every child's privacy.
Drivers and monitors keep conversation on the ride and the school day, and never discuss one rider with another.
- 02
We never disclose a student's address.
Stops are numbered on manifests. Locations stay inside role-restricted systems.
- 03
No unauthorized change of driver, vehicle, stop or passenger.
Every change goes through the district in writing before it happens.
- 04
No child is ever left alone.
A post-trip check of the whole cabin closes every run.
- 05
The strictest authorized-adult handoff rule, always.
If the authorized adult isn't there, the child stays with us and we follow the district's procedure.
- 06
Accidents, breakdowns, major delays and allegations are reported immediately.
Dispatch notifies the district right away, not at the end of the day.
